The primary venue for the conference will be the Twin Waters Resort. The conference registration (Sunday night), Opening Ceremony and sessions on Monday and Tuesday will be held at this venue. Plenary sessions will be held at the USC Campus on Wednesday morning prior to the departure for the 1/2 in-conference field trip. The USC campus at Sippy Downs is easily accessed from the conference accommodation at Twin Waters and Mooloolaba. On Wednesday, buses will transport delegates staying at Twin Waters to the USC campus. Delegates will then depart from the USC for the 1/2 in-conference field trip. The venue for presentations on Thursday will be the Mantra Mooloolaba Beach Hotel.
The conference will follow the standard IUFRO Group 3.08 format with a Sunday evening welcome, 4 day conference program including a ½ day field trip on the Wednesday afternoon, conference dinner on Wednesday night, with the conference concluding Thursday at 5pm.
